If you ask me what advice I would give to a student who is about to enter college, the first thing I would say is to try to find out as soon as possible the things they are most passionate about, and from that basis, try to find a suitable career to be as satisfied as possible during their years of study. Many times young people do not have much clarity about what to study and end up in a career motivated by money or because someone recommended it to them, but without being completely convinced, which makes it very likely that they will end up abandoning it in the future.

I would also recommend that the first few months after entering, try to be as focused and committed as possible to the university, until you are able to adapt to the rhythm and the extensive daily routines. I would also advise you not to get discouraged if your results, in terms of grades, are not what you expected, since it is very common that we all start with low grades, but with the necessary effort and dedication, they can always be improved.

Finaly, I would advise you never to feel pressured to have to finish your chosen career. Sometimes people think they have found the career of their dreams, but once they begin it, they realize that it is totally different from what they imagined.
