Education
If you ask me what advice I would give to a student who is about to enter college, the first thing I would say is to try to find out as soon as possible the things they are most passionate about, and from that basis, try to find a suitable career to be as satisfied as possible during their years of study. Many times young people do not have much clarity about what to study and end up in a career motivated by money or because someone recommended it to them, but without being completely convinced, which makes it very likely that they will end up abandoning it in the future.
I would also recommend
that the first few months after entering, try to be as focused and committed as
possible to the university, until you are able to adapt to the rhythm and the
extensive daily routines. I would also advise you not to get discouraged if
your results, in terms of grades, are not what you expected, since it is very
common that we all start with low grades, but with the necessary effort and
dedication, they can always be improved.
Finaly, I would advise
you never to feel pressured to have to finish your chosen career. Sometimes
people think they have found the career of their dreams, but once they begin
it, they realize that it is totally different from what they imagined.
Therefore, I believe that one should be free to choose when to abandon the
degree if he is no longer happy with it, since nothing good will come from
studying something that he does not like, if in the future he will have to
dedicate his life to work in the same...
